What you need to do
- Say hello, say you are submitting an application and hand over your folder.
- Explain your grounds in your own words — work, study, family or something else.
- Answer the officer's questions: since when you are here, where you live, what you do.
- The complication: there is a field on the form you do not understand. Ask what it means and what goes in it.
- Ask for confirmation of submission and how to follow the progress.
