How a month goes
You sign up for a group on this page or in the app. It commits you to nothing: you pay only once the group starts.
When the group is full, we get in touch personally, introduce your mentor and agree the time of the first call.
On the first call the mentor assesses your level and goals and proposes a plan: which course topics, which city scenarios, what to read and listen to.
Then every week: a one-hour personal call, the mentor in the chat, and after every conversation the platform prepares a summary, a cheat sheet and materials. You set the pace.
Once a month the mentor sums up: what has stuck, what comes next. You can stop the programme at any time.
Who the mentors are
Mentors in the programme are experienced teachers of Serbian with real teaching experience and experience with English- and Russian-speaking learners. That is the standard of selection: we do not take students or self-taught tutors into the programme. A mentor works on the Lingomir platform and builds on the course, but picks materials for each learner — from the app and from any other source.

What is the mentor programme?

How is it different from a Serbian language school?
At a school the group follows a timetable, and if you miss a week the group has moved on. Here everyone has their own pace: the call is set at a convenient time, the mentor picks materials for your week and stays in touch in the chat in between. The studying itself happens on a platform with the full course, the city and the dictionary.
How is it different from a tutor?
A tutor is one hour at a set time. In the programme the mentor answers in the chat every working day, after every call the platform automatically prepares a summary and a cheat sheet and collects materials, and the course, exercises and dialogues with the city’s characters work between calls. Mentors are also selected for experience.
Do I have to attend group sessions?
No. The mini-group is a shared chat and a shared mentor, not a class at a set hour. You can talk with your group, or study entirely on your own.
What does “enrolling” mean?
Groups start as they fill. You sign up with no commitment, and when your group is ready to start we get in touch personally, introduce your mentor and agree the first call. Payment starts only after the start.
Can I have more personal calls?
Yes: an extra hour with your mentor costs €20.
What language does the mentor use?
English or Russian, your choice — and Serbian: explanations in your language, practice in Serbian, with the share of Serbian growing with your level.
What if I want to stop?
You can stop at any time: the paid month runs to its end and nothing is charged after. Your progress, notes and Premium access until the end of the period stay in the app.
