Ordering internet at home

Role-play: you call the provider, dictate your address, choose a package and book the installation visit (Priključenje interneta).

Where it happens

Your flat
Your cosy flat in central Novi Sad — the base where your lessons take place.

Who you talk to

Nikola (internet provider operator)
Nikola answers the phone at an internet provider's support line. He speaks from a script, friendly and very fast — but if you ask him to slow down he honestly does, and spells the address back syllable by syllable.

What you need to do

  1. Say why you are calling: you want internet connected at a new address.
  2. Dictate the address: street, house number, floor and flat.
  3. Ask what packages exist and what is included.
  4. The complication: the operator speaks very fast. Ask him to repeat slowly and to spell it out.
  5. Agree a day and time for the technician and leave your phone number.

A Premium scenario — the free tier includes the basic dialogues with the city residents.
