What you need to do
- Ask what režije covers and what is paid separately.
- Ask how the bills arrive and in whose name they are.
- Ask how different the bills are in winter.
- The complication: the landlord answers vaguely — 'the usual, not much'. Ask to see past bills.
- Suggest putting who pays what into the contract, and say thank you.
