What you need to do
- Call, say who you are and describe what has broken.
- Say when it started and whether it has got worse.
- Ask whether he will call a repairman or you should.
- The complication: the landlord suggests waiting. Explain why waiting is a problem and offer an option.
- Agree a time for the repairman's visit and say thank you.
