- Say what is bothering you and exactly where.
- Say since when it has been going on and whether it is getting worse.
- Describe the character of it: constant or in waves, sharp or dull.
- The complication: you do not know the word you need. Work around it — point to the place and describe it differently.
- Say what you have already taken or done, and whether you have any allergy.
