Making a power of attorney

Role-play: you are leaving and want someone able to act for you. You explain to the notary exactly what should be delegated (Punomoćje).

What you need to do

1. Say you need a power of attorney and briefly explain the situation.
2. Say who you are giving it to and who they are to you.
3. Describe what exactly that person may do — and what you do not permit.
4. The complication: a broad 'for everything' wording is suggested. Say you want it limited and explain how.
5. Ask how long it is valid and how to revoke it, and say thank you.
